Sri Lankan rupee hits fresh low against dollar

COLOMBO (Reuters) - The Sri Lankan hit yet another record low against the dollar on Monday due to concerns over political uncertainty dragging the island nation's economy, after downgrade of the country's credit rating and IMF halting a loan discussion.

The fell to an all-time low at 180.40 against the dollar, compared with Friday's close at 179.80/180.40. The currency hit a fresh record low for the fourth straight session on Monday.
