Vadodara: Two students from city-based, St Kabir School clinched the prestigious TCS IT Quiz trophy 2018 held in Mumbai on Monday. Bhavya Raninga, student of XII standard and Nihar Shah who studies in standard X created a history of sorts when they scored 350 points – highest ever points earned in the contest by any of the teams from across the country.

“When someone talks of Gujarat, it is always about business and entrepreneurship. And states from southern parts of the country are known more for Information and Technology. But we have successfully broken this myth and proved that we are equally good in the IT field,” Bhavya said and added that they had tough competition from the teams from Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi. The quiz contest is one of the prestigious quiz competitions organized annually all over India.
