Mhow: Maharashtra state minister for women and child welfare Pankaja Munde addressed public gathering her in Mhow on Saturday seeking voters support for BJP firebrand leader and Mhow assembly constituency Usha Thakur. Munde daughter of late Gopinath Munde said she is seeing Madhya Pradesh since times when her father was in charge of the state.
She fired salvo on the Congress party saying prime minister Narendra Modi has not only shattered the rule of one family in the country, but set an example before others that a person from so ordinary background can also reach the highest position in the country.
She also recounted several beneficiary schemes for people saying, Modi saw smoke in his mother’s eyes while she cooked food for the family and realising that pain, he introduced the Ujjwala scheme. She praised Ladli Laxmi scheme of MP and said that she introduced Bhagyashree scheme in Maharashtra.
Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chohan also addressed the gathering and said that as per his promise, he has linked Narmada river to Kshipra and promised that he will pour Narmada’s water in seven rivers originating from Janapao. Also, every effort will be done to take Narmada to every place where it is required. He said that he has future plans for farmers in such a way that they won’t need any loans. Over 77 lakh families have been benefitted by waiving their electricity bills amounting to Rs 6000 crores.
Girls of all classes won’t have to pay their college fees if they score 75 percent in higher secondary examination. Ambedkar memorial and birthplace of Lord Parashuram (Janapao) will be made in such a way that they will be world renowned places. Chohan didn’t take the name of Kaliash Vijayvargiya in his speech despite the fact that he is the sitting MLA from Mhow and he had been instrumental in large scale development. Concluding his speech, he urged the public to vote Usha Thakur and also help her momentarily as she is poor.
