HYDERABAD: On a day when BJP national president Amit Shah campaigned for his party in Telangana, TRS president and chief minister K Chandrababu Naidu said in the 2019 elections, a non-Congress and non-BJP front would come to power at the centre. At a public meeting that he addressed in Shadnagar, he also said out of the 17 Lok Sabha seats, the TRS would win 16 and MIM would retain the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat. “Narendra Modi is anti-Muslim. I have tried to point this out to him,” he said at the public meeting.

Amit Shah at a meeting questioned the proposal of KCR to increase the percentage of reservations for Muslims to 12 per cent in the state.

At an election public meeting in Tandur campaigning for the Telangana assembly elections, KCR said according to his latest survey reports, the TRS was set to win 103-106 seats out of the total 119 seats. KCR said on Saturday which was his ‘rest day’ from election campaigning he had got survey reports from all constituencies and studied them which gave the TRS a big edge.
