WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- Zane McIntyre made 31 saves and Peter Cehlarik and Ryan Donato scored goals 65 seconds apart in the second period as the Providence Bruins beat the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Penguins, 4-2, on Sunday afternoon.

The victory gave the P-Bruins a sweep of their two-game Pennsylvania swing after Saturday night's 6-3 win over Lehigh Valley.

McIntyre kicked out 11 of 12 shots in the third period to preserve Providence's lead.

Fitzgerald opened the scoring with a power-play goal at 2:56 of the first period, finishing off a tic-tac-toe passing play with Jan Kovar and Donato.

The Penguins answered with a power-play tally by Adam Johnson with 44 seconds left in the first period.

Cehlarik gave Providence a 2-1 lead at 11:55 of the second period after taking a pass from Mark McNeill. Then Donato extended the lead to two goals at 1:05 later after some nice work by Fitzgerald along the boards.

Jarrett Burton brought the Penguins within a goal at 15:56 of the third period, but Providence's Jakub Zboril salted away the win with an empty-net goal with three seconds left.

Justin Peters stopped 15 shots for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
