Old Audi RS4 Sedan With Urban Camo Likes To Play In The Snow

The B7 Audi RS4 was discontinued 10 years ago, yet it’s still one very potent car, even by today’s standards.

It was the last of its kind to have been offered as a sedan, too, in addition to the Avant body style, and it came with an old school naturally aspirated V8 paired to a six-speed manual gearbox and Quattro AWD.

The 420 PS (414 hp / 309 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) produced by the 4.2-liter unit allowed it to hit the 100 km/h (62 mph) mark in just 4.8 seconds, despite the car’s 1,725 kg (3,800 lbs) weight.

In a slightly updated form, the V8 engine was maintained in the B8 RS4, where it welcomed an additional 30 PS (30 hp / 22 kW). The torque number remained unchanged and the German automaker quoted a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint time of 4.7 seconds, in addition to a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph), or 280 km/h (174 mph) with the limiter removed.

The stick shift, on the other hand, was dropped completely and replaced by a dual-clutch 7-speed auto, which in turn gave its place to an eight-speed automatic gearbox in the outgoing B9 RS4.

After reminding ourselves of the RS4’s history, as it’s now time to see an example having fun somewhere in the snowy Swiss Alps.

While not many may agree with the urban camo wrap chosen by its owner, it definitely helps the car stand out more, alongside those new alloy wheels and a few other touches.
