High alert sounded in south Karnataka after MH Ambareesh's death

As the news spread, scores of his followers took to the streets to express their grief over the demise of their leader. MANDYA: A high alert has been sounded in the the south Karnataka region following the death of Kannada film star-turned-politician MH Ambareesh on Saturday.
Additional police forces are sent to Mandya district where Ambareesh had a huge fan following.
According to the sources, there is still a possibility of fans taking the extreme step and all the precautionary measures are in place to deal with any eventualities.
