In the name of Global Investors Meet, the chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had committed scam and also betrayed the citizens of the state, alleged Congress national media president Randeep Singh Surjewala while talking to media, here on Friday.
He alleged that in last 15 years in the state, twelve investors meet were organised and it was claimed that in these meets proposals of Rs 17,49,739 crore were signed, but in real case the proposal of not more than Rs 50,000 had matured. He alleged that the CM had given the precious land to the Anil Ambani to establish industry, but till date no money was deposited by the industrialist and also no investment was done by the company.
Near the airport in Bhopal, the government had allocated 76 acer of land in less than 75 per cent of market rate to Reliance Defence and Aero Space Private Limited on February 5,2016, alleged the congress leader. But the company had not even deposited the 25 per cent of the amount into the government account and acquired the land and importantly no project has started till date, he added.
Similarly in Pithampur of Dhar district, the state government had allocated 195.82 acer of land to Reliance Defence for just Rs 667.50 per square metre. The company did not deposit a single paisa into the government account and no work had started in the area, said Surjewala.
