Naveen Patnaik inaugurates water supply projects

BHUBANESWAR: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday inaugurated 500 drinking water projects for 95 urban local bodies that would benefit around 33 lakh people. These projects are developed at an investment of Rs 408 crore.
He also inaugurated Bhubaneswar Bulk Water Supply Project that would supply water to Khurda, Jatni and campus of IIT, Bhubaneswar, NISER and industrial estate by Idco.
Addressing the gathering, Naveen said the state government is committed to ensure adequate pipe water supply to every household in the state.
