Rain may play spoilsport at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday as India get ready to take on Australia in the second T20I of the three-match series. While India will be eager to make a comeback in the series after their narrow 4-run loss at the Brisbane in the first match, the rain gods might have a different plan.
BCCI has already predicted a delayed start for the match.

The MCG Official Twitter said that any call about delaying the match will be made at around 12:50 pm IST (6:20 pm local).
It will be around 6.20pm when they are scheduled to toss the coin. At that time we will know more about delays or cancellations.

The match is scheduled to start at 01:20 pm (IST) and 06:50 pm (Local).
According to the weather forecast, heavy showers are predicted throughout the evening in Melbourne. Rain might delay or was out the match.
More than 100,000 tickets have already been sold and around 130,000 fans are tipped to come through the gates, according to SBS.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM), 3 to 10 mm rain is expected on Friday. “There’s a high chance (80%) of showers, most likely in the morning and afternoon,” BoM says.
Weather.com also predicts overcast with rain showers at times on Friday evening.
Rain had affected the first T20I as well which India lost by 4 runs after being set a revised target by D/L method.
