Sapaks all set to spring some surprise in MP
Akhilesh Kumar Singh | TNN | Nov 23, 2018, 08:34 ISTMORENA: Neha, the lone ‘kinner’ (eunuch) in the fray is giving sleepless nights to her rivals in Ambah assembly constituency in Madhya Pradesh. Unlike her rivals from mainstream parties, she is not facing the wrath of villagers for supporting the recent changes in the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act in Parliament.
Neha is the nominee of Sapaks (Samanya, Pichhda, Alpsankhyak) party, a political forum of people opposed to SC/ ST Act and the existing quota policy. The party has fielded 130 candidates in the state after it got recognition from the Election Commission with “Jhoola” (swing) as its symbol.
The party is supporting around 78 rebels from Congress & BJP and hopes to emerge as a king-maker if the two parties fail to get majority.
