Guj: Study planned for water aerodrome on Sardar Sarovar Dam

A pre-feasibility study will be carried out for the construction of a water aerodrome at the on the in Gujarat's district, about 90 kilometres fromn here, state Tourism Principal Secretary S J said.

A water aerodrome is an area of open water used regularly by seaplanes or amphibious aircraft for landing and taking off.

"It is one of the four sites identified for constructing water aerodromes in The other three sites are on Sabarmati river, and Shatrunjay Dam," told PTI Thursday.

Charan Singh, director, who has been made mentor to oversee the pre-feasibility study for the water aerodrome, said work on the study would begin soon.
