14-year-old boy kidnapped, sodomised by five persons

Picture for representational purpose onlyRAJKOT: A 14-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised by five persons in a village of Kalavad taluka in Jamnagar district on Tuesday and an FIR in this regards was lodged in Kalavad rural police station on Thursday. Police have launched the search to nab the accused.
According to police, the boy was going alone to his farms on Tuesday evening when he was kidnapped by few people and taken to an isolated place in an auto rickshaw. The accused then took turns to sodomise the boy. The accused later dumped the boy at the village entry point and threatened him against sharing his ordeal with anyone else.
The matter came to light when the boy complained of pain and he was taken to hospital by his father. The boy has been referred to Civil hospital for further treatment.
Police suspect the involvement of persons with criminal backgrounds from the neighbouring villages.
