Sri Sathya Sai Award For Human Excellence-2018 Will Be Presented On Nov 23

Be it fostering values of love, promoting peace, respect for religion and culture or upliftment of the marginalised, there are people working tirelessly to make this world a better place to live. Celebrating such undying spirit to make a difference to society, Sri Sathya Sai Award for Human Excellence 2018 comes with inspiring stories of people from the emerging world – India, South-Asia, South-East Asia, Middle-East, Africa and Latin America.
In its third year, the recognition highlights the efforts of people from across the world under seven categories – health, education, women and child welfare, environment, music and fine arts, unity of religions and sports.
The award is instituted by Prashanthi Balamandira Trust. Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu will give away the awards on November 23 at Muddenhalli of Chikkaballapur district, 60km from Bengaluru.
Health, being a crucial category of the awards, is pre-requisite to transforming lives. The guidelines comprises low-cost healthcare solutions for the poor and marginalised. The environment category looks at people who are working for protection of water, wildlife, forests and agriculture land.
