Large-scale cyberattacks, incidents of data breaches, and severe weather events are some of the emerging risks that are likely to affect the business environment in the country, says a study by Marsh India.

88% – respondents identified cyber-attacks as the topmost risk

85% – respondents cited data fraud or theft as one of the biggest risks

84% – respondents said volatile weather

81% – cite severe energy price shock and major financial failure among top risks

Other risks include

80% – financial crises in key economies

76% – water crises

76% – the shortfall of critical infrastructure

72% – failure of urban planning and failure of national governance
