ISODA Tech Summit to catalyze India’s channel business

TS9 - Business edition scheduled in 2019 at Doha will deliver great value to all stake holders, according to the channel companies and tech OEMs of India.

ISODA’s next Tech Summit, the ninth edition has been scheduled to take place at Doha, Qatar.

The 2019 event –TS9 – Business edition by ISODA (Infotech Software Dealers Association) will be held from 31st January to 3rd Feb of 2019.   

Tech Summit is an annual event by ISODA incepted in 2010 by management committee members to assimilate association members (channel companies directors and tech vendors’ executives from India) at an offsite location with a three day conference. 

The first edition of Tech Summit or TS was held at Bangkok in 2010.

What’s in store at TS9 - Business Summit

1. Insights for ISODA members to sustain and grow the business by creating differentiation value through workshops and activity based sessions. 

2. Sponsors will be provided with 1:1 meeting space and a display area to interact with delegates.

3. There will be breakout sessions where chosen delegate(s) will attend a particular sponsor session.  

4. Organizing networking sessions with business chambers at destination to enable members to explore business possibilities.

The ninth edition will sport a different avatar called as TS9 Business edition. The event in January next year will be more content focused for participants including workshops and activities that will focus on sustaining and scaling business for channel partners of India.  
 
Compared to the last eight editions of ISODA’s annual event that took place overseas, TS9 will be different especially from the content perspective. “TS9- Business edition will focus to deliver value to all stakeholders attending the event. For members it will provide insight on how to sustain and grow the business by differentiating in creating value. There will be workshops and activity based sessions to add practical element to the theoretical session,” said L Ashok, Chairman, ISODA Tech Summit 9.

There will be breakout sessions for sponsors with a more focused approach.  “The sponsors will be provided with a one-on-one meeting space and a display area where they can interact with delegates throughout the conference.  There will be breakout sessions where chosen delegates will attend the sponsor session,” added Ashok.

ISODA has a strength of over 190 members from across the country. We have added more than 30 new members to ISODA since the last Tech Summit in February 2018 at Kuala Lumpur, mentioned Vimesh Avlani, Secretary, ISODA.
 
Besides the Tech Summit, ISODA has embarked upon new initiatives in 2018 for the benefit of its members. “We have appointed legal consultant and ISODA mouthpiece interconnect has been imparting a lot of information to members on how to collaborate and make more profits,” said Vimesh.

Every year, around 80 ISODA members (channel partners and tech OEMs) attend the annual tech summit. “We aren’t sure of the attendee numbers at present.  But as an 80/20 rule, 80 percent of the participants attending as delegates will be from the 20 percent members who have always supported ISODA,” informed Ashok.

ISODA is also trying to get business networking session with Qatar Business fraternity at TS9.  We will be organizing networking sessions with business chambers at destinations to enable members to network and explore business possibilities, he added.

Speaking on the expectations of the ISODA management committee, Vimesh explained, “This year’s summit will be a trendsetter in creating a different thought process for participants to find value proposition by means of increasing their profits. More importantly, this time it is a business summit wherein a new concept is attempted and hence it makes value proposition for channel partners to attend TS9.”

The city of Doha, compared to popular event destinations in the past for ISODA summits and industry tech events has its own charm and offers new business opportunities, highlighted Ashok.
