NEW DELHI: Shares of YES Bank gained over 3 per cent in Wednesday’s trade after the managing director and chief executive Rana Kapoor said he is in talks with co-promoter Madhu Kapur to reach a truce.

The scrip rose 3.16 per cent to hit a high of Rs 198.65 on BSE.

In a filing to the BSE, the fourth largest private bank said that efforts are underway by the promoter Rana Kapoor for mutual resolution with Madhu Kapur & family, the co-promoter of the bank.

This is intended to ensure better support and coordination by the two promoter groups with the board of directors of the bank, the bank said.

The bank clarified that the recent resignations bear no impact on the new MD & CEO selection process.

The new MD & CEO selection process is on track, as per committed timelines, it said.
