Updating the headlines
Latest from the Calder
We're hearing of heavy delays for motorists on the Calder. There's still one lane shut after that truck was left dangling from an overpass yesterday afternoon.
A VicRoads spokesman says a recent crash near the Thunderdome is adding to inbound misery. There are heavy delays in both areas.
Crews are hoping to reopen the lane any minute now. The spokesman says hopefully that will ease the traffic jams.
Traffic update
More traffic news thanks to VicRoads and the Australian Traffic Network:
- At Keilor North, there's an accident inbound on the Calder Freeway at the Thunderdome.
- In West Melbourne, there's an accident citybound on Dynon Road between Kensington Road and Lloyd Street.
- At Alphington, traffic lights out equals crash on Grange Road at Wingrove Street.
- And in Port Melbourne, there's a broken-down truck inbound on the West Gate Freeway at the Williamstown overpass.
