Deepveer’s wedding reception in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: Celebrity couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh arrived in Bengaluru on Tuesday ahead of their wedding reception to be held in the city on Wednesday.

The actors, who got married in a private ceremony at Lake Como in Italy last week, showed up in colour coordinated white outfits designed by Sabyasachi and posed for pictures outside the airport amidst tight security.

Deepika was wearing the Punjabi chura (red bangles), the sign of a newly-wed woman, while Ranveer sported a bandhgala with a floral pattern. The couple’s wedding reception will be held at the Leela Palace hotel on Wednesday evening.

The Bollywood stars, who have acted in many Hindi movies together, will then return to Mumbai where they will host another reception.

Deepika, the daughter of Bengaluru-based badminton player Prakash Padukone, and Ranveer dated for six years before they announced their wedding plans last month.
