Christmas Came Early! Walmart \'Santa\' Pays For Everyone\'s Layaway Items

Christmas gifts are on me!??Christmas came early for customers at a Walmart in Vermont;??When an anonymous man decided to pick up the tab and pay for everyone’s gifts that were on layaway at the store.

??A customer told CBS news, the Christmas miracle happened as she was in line and overheard a conversation between two people, one of which was the secret Santa.

??“He came up to the man in front of me and said, 'Either I am going to pay for it now or I am going to pay for it later,'” she told CBS news.

??Then the mystery man told the customer he was going to pay for her items as well as everyone else’s gifts.

??According to CBS news, when the customer asked how the man could afford everyone’s gifts, he said “Santa Claus can” and told her his name was Kris Kringle.

??"I just can't put into words how much that man has done for so many people.

He is the true meaning of Christmas," The customer told ABC News.

??Walmart would not disclose the amount of money the man spent on other people’s items.??Walmart later released a statement to ABC news “When customers quietly pay off others’ layaway items…”??“we’re reminded how good people can be.
