Lebanon’s national carrier to expand its fleet, to add 15 new aircrafts by 2021

“We will add 15 of the most modern aircraft to our fleet, which will include internet service and all the necessary requirements for a comfortable trip,” he was quoted as saying, by Elnashra, an independent online newspaper.

 

Thanks to a grant from the Middle East Airlines to the Lebanese government, Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, announced earlier this month, a project to increase the capacity of Lebanon’s international airport, to accommodate five million additional annual passengers.

 

Notably, Beirut’s airport this year has faced several problems, due to its small size, compared to the number of passengers who use it.
