South Australia Police will plead guilty to criminal charges over the death of an employee who froze to death in a kitchen freezer.
Debra Summers, who worked part-time as a cook and cleaner at Echunga Police Training Reserve in Adelaide Hills, South Australia, was found dead inside a commercial freezer on October 4.
The 54-year-old died from hypothermia after being locked inside the freezer for several hours,9 News reported.
Safework SA have accused SA police and the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure of failing to comply with occupational health and safety procedures.

Charges were later laid to both organisations as they were responsible for maintaining the site regularly, the last was meant to be scheduled for September.
In September, Safework executive director Martyn Campbell said the two departments had 'shown conduct that constituted a criminal offence under the Work Health and Safety Act 2012', The Advertiser reported.
He confirmed that the lock on the walk-in freezer 'wasn't working effectively'.
In the SA Employment Tribunal on Wednesday the lawyer for SA Police and the DPTI, Frances Nelson said that she had received confirmation to enter a guilty plea on behalf of the police.
'As far as SA Police is concerned, the instructions from the Commissioner are that we are to enter a plea of guilty at the earliest opportunity,' Ms Nelson told the tribunal.
In regards to the DPTI, she reports there are 'still issues to work out'.
SA Police will formally enter the guilty plea before Christmas.
They are both facing fines of up $1.5 million.
Ms Nelson asked the case be adjourned until December.
