A street in Brisbane's CBD was placed on lock down by police after a member of the public located a 'suspicious device' under a bus seat.
An unidentified pipe was located just outside the Queensland Law Society on Ann Street at the bus stop.
It was under the seat on the footpath near the bus stop, Inspector Steve Flori told the Brisbane Times.

'There's no threats, no indications it's an improvised explosive device but we're taking precautions because it's unexplained,' he said.
An exclusion zone was set up on Ann Street, located in the inner-city is closed off, between Albert Street and Edward Street set up since 10:15am.
Police wearing body armour, the dog squad and bomb squad were all on the scene. The device was put through an X-Ray machine on location.

No buildings were evacuated within the exclusion zone, but employees were asked to remain inside.
Bus stops along Ann Street were all been diverted and Translink have asked customers to catch buses using alternative routes.
Police have since confirmed a knife, fork and spoon were discovered inside the PVC pipe.
They have reopened Ann Street to the public after confirming the discovery was not an explosive.
