Teenager taken to hospital after fall from Yallingup fishing spot
A teenager has been injured after he fell from a notorious fishing spot in WA's South West on Tuesday afternoon.
The young man was at Torpedo Rocks on Yallingup Beach Road just after 3pm when he fell.
St John Ambulance and WA Police attended the scene, it is understood the man's injuries are not life-threatening.
The rescue helicopter is in the Leeuwin-Naturaliste national park region.
Torpedo Rocks is about 250km south of Perth, and is known as a dangerous fishing spot because of unpredictable swell and jagged rocks.
