FacebookUsers of Facebook and Instagram have both reported issues with accessing their accounts Monday morning.
Facebook, the parent company to Instagram, posted on Twitter that it was aware of issues involving "the Facebook family of apps" and was looking into it.
A spike in outages on both Facebook and Instagram were reported Monday, according to the website Down Detector.Business Insider has reached out to Facebook and Instagram for additional comment.
We know some people are having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We're working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
