Massive allocations made by Centre cornered by TDP cadres, it alleges

BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav along with party’s State affairs in-charge V. Muraleedharan, co-charge Sunil Deodhar and president Kanna Lakshminarayana took stock of the developments in the core committee meeting in Guntur on Sunday.

They discussed the strategy for the general elections, ways to counter the propaganda by the State government that the Centre had given nothing worthwhile post-bifurcation and organisational matters and reiterated their commitment to put the State government on the defensive on charges of corruption.

The withdrawal of the State government’s consent for CBI investigations also reportedly figured in the deliberations.

Rajya Sabha member G.V.L. Narasimha Rao, who took part in what called a period exercise, told The Hindu that it was decided to expose how the massive allocations made by the Central government under a host of schemes like the MGNREGS, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the Swachh Bharat were cornered by the TDP cadres, corruption in various projects, activities of the land grabbing mafia and other areas where the State government was at fault.

It was resolved to organise ‘Intintiki BJP’ from December 1 to 15 and stage protests against the bungling in the acquisition of land for the construction of capital city Amaravati and for the Bhogapuram airport and the Machilipatnam seaport among various projects.Mr. Deodhar tweeted that his party would not leave any stone unturned in exposing the corrupt Chandrababu Naidu government and that people were yearning for a change being fed up with his false promises and lies.
