Non-life insurer Future Generali India Insurance Monday said it has appointed Shreeraj Deshpande as the interim head, effective November 17.
He was earlier the senior vice-president and head of operations, customer service and health insurance in the company, the company said in a release.
Shreeraj replaces KG Krishnamoorthy Rao, who will take over the role of chief executive officer of MPI Generali Insurans Berhad and will relocate to Malaysia, it added.

Omega Medical Coding Academy (OMCA) Monday said it is planning to train for 1,500 students over the next six months, across Chennai, Trichy and Bengaluru to cater to the rising demand for medical coders in the healthcare industry.
In the last four years, the company has trained nearly 4,000 students of which more than 2,000 were absorbed by Omega, an official release said.
Along with training in medical coding, OMCA also provides counselling and placement support to students.
