Realme U1 India launch set for November 28: Here is everything we know so far
Realme is all set to introduce its new smartphone Realme U1 in India this month. The Chinese smartphone brand earlier announced that the upcoming smartphone from its new U series will be the first to carry MediaTek Helio P70 processor. The Realme U1 is already listed on the leading e-commerce platform Amazon India. As per the listing, the new Realme U1 will be a selfie-centric smartphone. Realme U1: India launch date and timing
The all-new Realme U1 will mark its debut in India on November 28. The new Realme handset will be exclusive to Amazon India. As per the Amazon listing, the smartphone launch event will begin at 12:30pm IST. Interested users can sign in for updates regarding the phone via the Realme U1 ‘Notify Me’ page.
Realme U1: Expected specifications
Realme will be the first smartphone to be powered by MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. To recall, MediaTek launched the Helio P70 SoC last month. The octa-core SoC is fabricated on TSMC 12nm FinFET process. The Helio P70 chipset is claimed to provide a 13 per cent boost in performance compared to its predecessor Helio P60 processor. The chipset comes with a dedicated AI co-processor to handle AI-related tasks and support a range of AI-based features like real-time beautification, scene detection and AR. With the Helio P70 onboard, the new Realme U1 is expected to offer selfie-centric features.
As per the Amazon listing, the new Realme phone will feature “the most powerful selfie-camera ever.” The listing further reveals the upcoming Realme U1 to feature a waterdrop notch display quite similar to the Realme 2 Pro. According to a GSMArena report, the smartphone might sport a 25MP front-facing camera. While little is known about the Realme U1, more details regarding specifications, design are expected to leak in the coming weeks ahead of its official launch.
