The University Grants Commission (UGC) will release the admit card for the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) examination. The candidates who will appear for the examination can download their admit cards from the official website ugcnetonline.in and ntanet.nic.in. The UGC NET 2018 will be conducted from 9 to 23 December and the results of NET examination will likely be released on 10 January 2019.
The UGC NET 2018 will have two papers this year instead of three. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting NET for the first time this year. Paper 1 will be of 100 marks and will contain 50 objective type compulsory questions. Each question will carry 2 marks and will be of general nature and will test the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. The duration of the same will be one hour (9:30 am to 10:30 am). Paper 2 will be of 100 marks and will contain 100 objective type compulsory questions. Each question will carry 2 marks and will be based on the subject opted by the candidate. The duration of the same will be two hours (11 am to 1 pm).
Steps to download UGC NET 2018 admit cards:
Step 1: Visit the official website, ugcnetonline.in
Step 2: Click on the ‘download admit card’ link
Step 3: A new window will open. Enter your application number and password in the requisite fields
Step 4: Admit card will appear on the screen
Step 5: Download it, and take a print out of the same
