As as their big day approaches, Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough appeared glowing and relaxed during a lunch with friends.

Stepping out to the upscale Catalina eatery in Sydney's Rose Bay on Monday, the soon-to-be-wed couple walked hand in hand, smiling as they entered the venue.

The handkerchief cut of the garment added a high-fashion flair and flashed some skin at her midriff, as well as featuring one fine strap and an open back.

After lunch, Jasmine, flashing her massive diamond engagement ring, embraced her friends on the stairs outside the restaurant with a kiss.

The appearance comes after Karl revealed some candid details of what punters can expect from his upcoming wedding to his fashion designer beau.

The Today Show host said that some Australian flair will remain at the nuptials, which take place in Los Cabos on December 8.

'I'm marrying a Queensland girl, there is going to be a few Queensland elements to the wedding. It's a really important thing for us,' he told The Courier-Mail.

Karl also revealed that his biggest hope was that there was 'a lot of love' for him and Jasmine on their wedding day.

'There's going to be a lot of love in the room, and I think it will be a really nice opportunity to say "thanks and we're getting on with it",' he told the paper.
