UFC fighter Rachael Ostovich set to cancel fight after she was savagely attacked in Hawaii during 'domestic violence' incident that left her with a broken bone in her face
Rachael Ostovich was badly beaten this weekend when in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The 27-year-old UFC fighter had one of the bones in her face broken - an broken orbital bone - and is in bad condition with 'major injuries', according to a report from TMZ.
On Monday morning she was released from the hospital.
The attack happened at a very bad time: the brunette beauty was scheduled to fight Paige VanZant in January. Considering her serious injury, it is more than likely she will have to cancel the fight.
According to her Instagram page, she wed to fighter Arnold Berdon, 27, in April 2016 and together they have daughter Ruby Rose.

They are supposed to meet up at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn on January 19.
The orbital bone is located around the eye socket. If it is fractured, it takes months to heal.
The Honolulu police department spoke directly with the site.
They revealed that a 'felony domestic violence investigation' is already underway.
That means that the person who attacked her is likely someone she knows as it has been labeled 'domestic violence.'

Hawaii is where the fighter was born and raised.
There has yet to be an arrest made.
And it is not known if the attacker is her husband Arnold, or another family member.
Rachael is one of the most promising stars in the UFC; not only is she tough and a good fighter but she has the looks of a model.

The athlete often posts sexy bikini photos on the beach, earning her 356K followers on Instagram.
Her last post was a flashback bathing suit photo on the beach with the caption: 'Missin those summer days.'
The fight with VanZant would have elevated her career greatly.

Ostovich is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the Flyweight division of UFC and weighs 125lbs.
Rachael began her career in 2010 when she was an amateur with the Mixed Martial Arts - in 2014 she went professional.
She moved on to The Ultimate Fighter in August 2017 and four months later she joined The Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale. She won the fight via armbar submission in the first round.
Her last big fight was with Montana de la Rosa in July at The Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale.
