Actor Nayanthara will be next seen in Telugu film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy
South Indian movie star Nayanthara on Sunday turned a year older. In order to mark the occasion, her character poster was released by the makers of upcoming Telugu biggie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. She plays the role called Siddhamma, wife of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy (Chiranjeevi).
The shooting of the big-ticket film is going at a steady pace. Recently, the filmmakers roped in Tamannaah Bhatia for the project, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep, Jagapathy Babu among others in important roles. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in a cameo in the film, which is being made on an estimated budget of Rs 200 crore.

Chiranjeevi’s star son Ram Charan Teja is producing the movie under his home production banner Konidela Production Company. The movie is based on the life of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, a Rayalaseema freedom fighter, who led a rebellion against the British rule in India.
Bollywood composer Amit Trivedi is scoring the music for the film.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a biopic on Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, a Rayalaseema freedom fighter. He is touted to be one of the first freedom fighters in India and his first revolt against the British rule apparently came a decade before India’s first war of independence in 1857. He was captured and publicly hanged in 1847.
