Sean 'Diddy' Combs is speaking out over the tragic death of his ex Kim Porter.

The 49-year-old rap mogul took to Instagram to post a heart wrenching behind the scenes video from an old photo shoot with ex Kim Porter back when she was pregnant.

Kim died suddenly on Thursday from cardiac arrest after dealing with a bout of pneumonia at the age of 47.

In an emotional post, Diddy poured out his heart to his late love.

'For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t,' Diddy wrote on Instagram.

'I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship,' he continued.

Last week authorities arrived at the model's home around 11:30 am on Thursday after they received a call saying someone was in cardiac arrest.

Sources reported that Kim has been suffering from the flu which turned into pneumonia.

Kim's close friend, Kimora Lee Simmons, 43, was seen sobbing outside the house as the body was removed by the coroner.

Simmons looked beside herself as she stood in the garage alongside other loved ones of Porter's.

Celebrities also took to social media to express their condolences as Rihanna wrote on Instagram:

'This is heavy. heartbroken about this man. we lost a real one today, beautiful inside and out. so many will be affected by this, some won't even know why...but the whole world was graced by the vibrance in your spirit.'

The Bad Boy records honcho and the actress were an on-again and off-again couple from 1994 to 2007 and their splits often made headlines.

They each had a child from a previous relationship when they started dating and then welcomed three more children together.

According to a source for People, the 49-year-old rapper maintained a very positive relationship with Porter.

'Diddy is devastated and shocked,' said the source, 'he and Kim were still very close friends and co-parents even though their romantic relationship didn’t work.'

TMZ reported: 'Diddy never stopped interacting with Kim, despite breaking up way back in 2007. Their connection went beyond the fact they were co-parenting three kids... they genuinely had love and affection for each other.

'They celebrated holidays as a family, vacationed together and just hung out ... and there was never an extended period where they were at odds with each other.'

The source added: 'They never had a formal custody agreement. They accommodated each other's schedules when it came to the kids -- and it always worked.'

While the couple managed to maintain a loving relationship over the years, things between the pair were rocky when they were together.

Shortly after the birth of the couple's first son, news hit that Diddy was dating Jennifer Lopez. Suddenly Porter's name was all over the press.

'Everywhere I went, people were asking, "Are you okay?"', Porter recalled at the time.
