(Bloomberg) -- Gil Cisneros wins election to U.S. House in California’s 39th congressional district, flipping the seat for the Democrats, Associated Press reported late Saturday.

Cisneros defeated Republican Young Kim, who would have be the first Korean-American woman in Congress.
