The Argentine Navy submarine that went missing a year ago off the country’s Atlantic Coast was found by a private company involved in what had been a massive search for the vessel and its 44-member crew.

The submarine was found partially imploded in a canyon nearly 3000ft (around 915m) under the surface of the ocean. It was last heard from on 15 November 2017.

Family members were distraught after hearing about the discovery, after dreading it for a year.
