Liquor bottles, beer cans seized from dilapidated house
TNN | Nov 19, 2018, 04:00 ISTRajkot: A total of 5,220 bottles of Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL), worth Rs 18.27 lakh, and 3,168 cans of beer, worth Rs 3.16 lakh, were seized from a dilapidated house in Saigam village near Rapar in Kutch on Saturday night.
Police said the bootlegger, identified as Ajitsinh Jadeja, gave the cops the slip before the raid.
“Jadeja, a history-sheeter, has been booked earlier also for bootlegging. Two months ago, IMFL cache worth Rs 10 lakh were seized from his house,” said R L Rathod, inspector of Rapar police station.
Police said the bootlegger, identified as Ajitsinh Jadeja, gave the cops the slip before the raid.
