SRINAGAR: A day after Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists executed a teenager, in the ISIS-style in front of a camera in Pulwama district, they shot dead another young boy in Shopian district, on the suspicion of being “police informers”. Three additional youth were also abducted at gunpoint from a village in Shopian on Saturday.
On Friday, Hizbul Mujahideen released the execution video released on social media, which showed Kashmiri-speaking executioners firing multiple shots in the head of an 11th-grade student, Nadeem Manzoor. The terrorists accused him of being a police informer. 18-year-old Nadeem was killed after he was abducted at Niklora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on late Thursday evening.
On Saturday, the Hizbul terrorists struck again and brutally shot dead another teenager, 19-year-old Huzaif Ashraf at Hermain in Shopian district in south Kashmir. In the same fashion as Nadeem, Huzaif was kidnapped earlier in the day from Saidpora area of Shopian, police said. Huzaif, who came from Manzgam in Kulgam district, was also killed on the charges of being a “police informer”. The police recovered his body in the afternoon today.
Terrorists have abducted three youth from Saidpora Payeen area. Official sources identified the three youth identified as Shahid Ahmad Ganie, Farooq Ahmad Thoker and Raja Qandur.
While Shahid and Farooq are residents of Saidpora Payeen village, Raja is resident of Manzgam in Kulgam. A police officer said that they have launched searches to trace the trio.
The execution of the teenagers drew sharp criticism from mainstream politicians. Former chief minister Omar Abdullah on social media said, “...There can be no justification for this act & should force those who sympathise with these outfits to question how these murders make Kashmir a better, freer place.”
