Terrorists on Saturday killed a 19-year-old civilian, who was kidnapped earlier in the day, from Saidpora area of Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district.

The body of the deceased, identified as Huzaif Ashraf, was recovered from Hermain village in Shopian.

Ashraf's body has been handed over to his family after completion of medico-legal formalities and a case under relevant sections of law has been registered.

This is the second incident of ghastly killing of a civilian in the valley in the last few days.

Earlier in the intervening night of November 15 and 16, a bullet-riddled body of a civilian, who was abducted by the terrorists, was retrieved by the police from Kilora area of Pulwama district.
