Two HC judges take oath

Chief Justice Dinesh Maheshwari administered oath to two judges of the Karnataka High Court on Saturday on their transfer from other high courts. Justice Alok Aradhe has been transferred from the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir. Born in 1964 at Raipur in Madhya Pradesh, he was elevated to the Madhya Pradesh High Court as an additional judge on December 9, 2009, and was made permanent judge in February 2011. He was transferred to the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir in September 2016 where he had also served as acting chief justice for about three months during May-August 2018.

Justice P.B. Bajanthri is returning to the Karnataka High Court. He was elevated as an additional judge of the Karnataka High Court in October 2014 and was made a permanent judge in January 2015. He was transferred to Punjab and Haryana High Court in March 2015.
