Ludhiana, November 17, 2018: India is endowed with varied ago-climate, which facilitates production of temperate, sub-tropical and tropical agricultural commodities which leads to enormous opportunities in agribusiness. Agri-business denotes the collective business activities that are performed from farm to fork. Agri-business includes all the activities within the agricultural food and natural resource industry involved in the production of food and fiber. But due to lack of awareness farmers/budding entrepreneurs are not getting any benefit. Keeping in view above facts, under ABI project, ICAR-CIPHET Ludhiana conducted one day workshop cum training on Agri-busines Opportunities on 16 Nov 2018 at Pratap Singh Wala, Ludhiana and 31 budding women entrepreneurs attended the same. Dr. Ranjeet Singh, PI ABI delivered lecture along with practical demonstration on minimal processing to the women and assured them that all possible help will be extended for establishment of agri-business unit.
