Hyderabad Metro reaches 30-million ridership

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Metro Rail added another feather to its cap by crossing 30 million cumulative ridership milestone on Thursday.


Speaking on this occasion, L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Ltd (LTMRHL) MD KVB Reddy said, "We have crossed 30 million passengers' cumulative milestone in 351 days and reached 30 million from 20 million in 71days. It is a happy moment for all of us."


The Hyderabad Metro Rail runs nearly 550 trips covering around 13,000 train kilometers daily.


"This has been possible with all the hard work, support and collaboration of all our employees, and O&M operator Keolis. I take this opportunity to thank all of them," said Reddy.
