GURUGRAM: The district administration and health department are all set to immunise all children in the age group of 5-15 years after 27 kids succumbed to diphtheria in Nuh (Mewat) recently. According to Nuh health officer VN Tiwari, though the vaccination period for diphtheria is up to 5 years of age, given the high susceptibility of the disease, all children up to 15 years of age are being covered.
“The deputy commissioner held a few meetings with the officials of various departments i the district , who have been entrusted the task of vaccinating all the children, ” Tiwari said.
