The identity of a vile child predator who violated boys and babies and shared his sickening exploits online has been revealed.

The Advertiser lifted the mask on child predator Ruecha Tokputza, an Adelaide man who groomed Australian and Thai children for sex.

Tokputza, 30, violated 11 boys and babies, with some as young as 15 months of age, and also filmed their torment.

Included in the predator's sickening film library was boys changing at an Adelaide swimming pool — the location of which has not been disclosed.

Tokputza admitted he indecently filmed the boys, under the age of 17, on May 21, 2017.

Tokputza was liberal in sharing his collection with child sex predators and used an online messaging app to distribute images and video files.

In one chat, he urged a man to visit Thailand and 'engage in sexual activity with children under the age of 16'.

Investigators have compared the scale of Tokputa's abuse to Families SA paedophile Shannon McCoole.

Tokputza faced Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday via video link from Mount Gambier Prison.

He was arrested in January after a joint investigation from Australian Federal Police, South Australia Polcie, NSW Police and Interpol.

Since that time he had been remanded in custody under the order of Magistrate Jayanthi McGrath.

Tokputza was first charged with six offences, but incurred a further 51 in September and then another 17 in November.

State legislation meant his identity could not be published, until the matter was committed to a higher court.

Prosecutors at court said they were willing to drop 23 of the counts if Tokputza confessed to the remaining 51.

Craig Caldicott represented Tokputza and said the court could skip over reading the charges to his client.

'It’s "guilty" to all 51 counts — I’ve spoken to him only 10 minutes ago and reaffirmed my instructions,' he said.

'Ordinarily I would provide the court with a signed copy of those instructions, but my client is down in Mount Gambier.'

With an added six aggravated counts of indecent assault, all those charges were linked back to the same Australian victim, all happening over six years.

He also pleaded guilty to two counts of committing sexual acts upon and five counts of having sexual intercourse with children outside of Australia, and three counts of persistent sexual exploitation of a child.

All of which related to Tokputza's numerous trips to Thailand between January 2014 and November 2017.

Adding further to his guilty plea count, Tokputza admitted to one count of accessing, nine counts of transmitting, one count of possessing and one count of producing child exploitation material.
