Ahead of India’s first T20I international against Australia at Gabba in Brisbane, Indian cricketers boarded the flight to travel Down Under. In a post shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on their official Twitter account, the Indian players were seen sharing a few laughs among themselves before boarding the flight.
In one of the images, vice-captain Rohit Sharma, who recently led India to 3-0 win against West Indies in the shortest format, was seen having fun with wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik. In another, Sharma’s opening partner Shikhar Dhawan was seen posing along with seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
India captain Virat Kohli, who enjoys a huge fandom in the country was seen posing along with fans at the airport, while Manish Pandey and Krunal Pandey were seen playing interactive mobile game PubG on their I-pads.

Rohit Sharma also clicked a photo along with members of the team and shared on his official Twitter account with the caption: “Gangs here and we are ready to jet.” Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav also expressed his excitement over travelling to Australia for the first time with Indian team: “Exciting challenges ahead. Off to Australia with the boys,” he wrote on Twitter.

India will play 3 T20Is, 4 Tests and 5 ODIs against Aussies, with the first T20I set to take place on November 21, 2018.
