A business owner has described how wood and stones rained down after a lorry misjudged a turn and hit her herbal medicine shop.
The incident took place on the corner of Market Street and Chapel Street, Abergele, just after 1.30pm this afternoon.
The Scania lorry was turning left into Chapel Street and apparently trying to avoid a beer delivery vehicle off-loading at the adjacent George and Dragon pub.
The lorry ended up hitting the Herbal Medicine shop on the corner of Market and Church Streets and became stuck.
Lydia Szymkowicz, who has owned the business for more than 20 years, said: "I was in the shop and this huge lorry was trying to turn but they were delivering beer across the road.
"This guy came round the corner in this huge lorry and he couldn't turn.

"He hit the shop and there was debris coming down - all the woodwork everything. There were stones, everything, all coming down."
Ms Szymkowicz said passers-by gave the shop a wider berth than the vehicle after the incident and the lorry was moved by around 2pm.
She said they were still checking the extent of the problem with the building and the landlord of the shop she rents was due to come and see for himself on Monday.
Ms Szymkowicz said she was confident her insurance would cover any damage.
Meanwhile she said the business would remain open as usual.

She added: "This is the worst thing that has happened since I have been here...although about 15 years ago a lorry took a bit of the corner off. But this was worse."
A spokesman for North Wales Police said it was called to the incident at 1.53pm and reported no injuries were reported.
