Nine injured in drunk driving accident in Diu

People run for safety when the driver of SUV lost controlRajkot: In a drunk driving case, as many as nine persons were mowed down by a SUV at Nagoa beach in Diu on Friday.
Nagoa beach police station arrested Sudhir Kasundara and booked him for drunk driving.
“Kasundara was found under influence of alcohol. He was heavily drunk while driving. He allegedly mowed down nine tourists who were strolling on the beach,” an official from Nagoa Beach police station said.
Of the injured, the condition of one Chandu Rudani is serious. Rudani, a resident of Visavadar of Junagadh district, has been shifted to Junagadh Civil Hospital. There was also a woman among those injured.
