2 drown in Kumaradhara

MANGALURU: Two youths, who ventured into Kumaradhara river for fishing, drowned near Daganakaje under Subrahmanya police station limits.
The incident took place on Wednesday evening. A group of five people had gone fishing in the evening and two from the group, Lakshith and Nishith drowned, said police. The district administration launched a massive search for the victims on Thursday morning. However, till evening there was no trace of the bodies. Search operations will continue on Friday. A case has been registered at Subrahmanya PS.
