10-year-old sodomised in Patiala

PATIALA: Police here have booked a 15-year-old boy for sodomising a 10-year-old boy. A case in this regard was registered on complaint of the mother of the survivor.
The incident took place on November 12, when the boy, a Class VI student, was returning home. Investigating officer Jasmel Singh, said, "The accused, who is also a minor, was known to the survivor, who is undergoing treatment at a government hospital. Both the survivor and the accused are the natives of the same village."
"The matter came to our notice on Wednesday and we immediately registered a case. The survivor told his mother that the accused attached him Ghaggar bridge and then sodomised him by force," the cops added.
"The accused is 15 years old. No arrests have been made so far as the accused is on the run. Police teams have been formed to conduct the raids. He will be nabbed soon. A case under Sections 377 (sodomy) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act has been registered on the complaint of the survivor's mother," said Jasmel.
