The Kerala High Court on Wednesday directed Mahatma Gandhi University to allow Muhammed Rifa, one of the accused in the Abhimanyu murder case, to write provisionally the supplementary second semester three-year LLB examinations scheduled on November 15, 19, and 26. The court made it clear that the results of the examinations need not be published without orders from the court.

The court passed the interim order on a petition filed by Muhammed Rifa. The petitioner said that he wrote a paper on November 13. However, the university authorities later instructed the college Principal not to allow him to write the remaining supplementary papers.
