AP intermediate time table 2019 released; check exam schedule here

Representational ImageVISAKHAPATNAM: State human resource department minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao announced the examination schedule for intermediate students here in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. Speaking to reporters, Srinivasa Rao said that the first year examinations will start from February 27 and the second year examinations from February 28.
“A total of 10.06 lakh students will appear for the examinations, including 5.25 lakh first year students and 4.8 lakh second year students. A total of 1,448 examination centres will be set up to conduct these examinations. The examinations will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. The practical examinations are proposed to be conducted from February 1 to February 20,” said Srinivasa Rao.
The minister said that examinations are scheduled to be conducted simultaneously with Telangana. “We spoke to the Telangana officials and finalised the same schedule for the two Telugu states to avoid confusion among students,” said Srinivasa Rao. Commissioner of the Board of Intermediate Education Udaya Lakshmi was present during the announcement.
Earlier, a group of post-doctoral fellows and guest faculty from various state universities met the HRD minister. They requested Srinivasa Rao to provide them with some weightage in the ongoing recruitment. Srinivasa Rao promised to consider making them directly eligible for interviews for positions of assistant professors. “We will also look into the aspects of job security and wages,” said Srinivasa Rao. Representatives of the post-doctoral fellows association Dr GKD Prasad, Dr G Giribabu, Dr D Nageswara Rao were present among others.
